Soul Winning
We know that “…we are ambassadors for Christ,” II Corinthians 5:20 and we desire to share Christ with all those around us. We do this personally, in our day to day lives, speaking openly of our faith to our friends, family members, and neighbors. We also understand the importance of being involved in the weekly organized soul-winning time that our church has scheduled. We meet regularly on Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM for the express purpose of winning souls to Christ through door to door Gospel tract distribution. (S.W.A.T. Soul Winning Action Team ministry). We also offer periodic training classes dealing specifically with the area of personal evangelism, where we teach people how to reach people for Christ.
Personal Discipleship
Colossians 2:6-7 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” We understand that once someone has received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, it is vital that we personally invest in their spiritual growth. Many of our men and ladies, within the ministry, have been trained and have a great desire to be involved in this vital area.
World-Wide Missions
We financially support our missionaries monthly and pray for them daily. We have an Annual Mission Conference annually, with a designated theme, spotlighting all of our missionaries. It is during this conference that new missionaries present their ministries and, veteran missionaries report on the progress of their existing ministries. This is also when we make our annual Faith Promise Missions Giving Commitments. Faith Promise is how we financially support our missions program.
Sunday School
We have Sunday School and Bible Study Classes appropriate for all ages.
Philippian Ladies Ministry
Monthly ministry for the ladies of the church that includes: Bible study, devotional challenge, prayer, encouragement, organization and planning for special church events. Includes snacks and fellowship!
Men's Prayer Breakfasts
Monthly ministry for the men of the church that includes: breakfast, devotional challenge, Bible study, and prayer.
Special Music
Each week we enjoy godly music that speaks to the heart from our adult choir, small groups, duets, solos and instrumentals (piano, guitar). Opportunities abound to use the gift of music in a Christ honoring way.
Nursery
Nursery is provided (0 - 3 years of age) for all services, including 10:00 AM Sunday School.
Children's Church
This ministry is for children (4 year old - 6th grade). Children's Church time consists of singing, a practical, age appropriate challenge from God’s Word, and a brief snack time. Participation in Children's Church is optional, parents may also choose to keep their children in the service with them.
Counseling
We offer biblical counseling, discipleship, and guidance in in a variety of areas including: marriage, family, relationships, life-dominating sins, fear, worry, depression, and proper use of your spiritual gift(s).
Family and Marriage Counseling is available with Pastor Curtis.
